On these 2 pictures one is rice puddings that
are separated in different taste that is selling in T&T, and the other one
is dragon boat race. I chose these 2 pictures because they showed Canadians are
participating in international events. Chinese eat these puddings at Dragon-Boat Festival. Normally at this day,
people race each other on Boating. This falls to the 2nd category.
At
Vancouver, people celebrate the Canada International Dragon Boat Festival,
which was lunched 6 years ago. Almost everyone in Vancouver knows how to row a
boat. There are over 80 local teams and around 2500 paddlers. People came
together for 3 days, June17-19, to race each other. This Festival attracted
over 10000 visitors and over 100 local and international teams had become the
largest festival of its kind in North America. The first time Vancouver got
the idea of Boat racing was from Expo '86, when Chinese Cultural Center
sponsored a race which featured 30 local teams. 3 years later the International
Dragon Boat Festival established.
