French & English

This picture is the cap of a yogurt. I chose this picture because it is related to Bill 101, which falls in the Category 8, because it has both English and French on it.
Bill 101, Charte de la langue Française, had made French became the official language of Quebec, became the habitual language of the workplace, instruction, communication, and commerce, and also became the compulsory course for immigrants. Before Bill 101, there was a Bill 1, which was withdrawn because of the pressure that came from the Liberal opposition. Supreme Court of Canada had supported the Quebec Supreme Court, and in 1984, Bill 101 passed. This caused the conflict between Anglophone and Francophone.
